The milliner wanted to make Christmas supper for her folks this year, so started planning the menu a couple weeks ago. She sent the ingredient list to her mom (any time I can make food without having to pay for it? Is a good thing). We started our mise en place the day before, but still screwed up the timing a bit, and ended up finishing the meal around 10 on Christmas night. Regardless, it was amazing, in a New California cuisine type of way. The results are here.
