Yay, my wife is back in town!

Yes, it’s true, April 7, Beth Orton will be playing at Club Soda. I don’t care what the restraining order says, I’ll be there, front and centre.
I don’t understand why she doesn’t reply to my letters, or why my phone calls are always redirected to some fellow who says he works at Scotland Yard, but I guess it’s just one of those things we’ll have to discuss when we meet again.

    Heee! That’s funny!

I saw her last night in San Diego. Even though she was sick with a sore throat and a cough she was still amazing!!! She is a goddess. I want to marry her too. Or at least make out with her once.

Did she mention me? It’s okay, you can tell me if she did. 😉

I didn’t tell anyone on my blog, but I got to see Beth twice last week. She was even better the second night. Told us she had bronchitis – but she still sounded awesome. I was so close I could see the roof of her mouth. On my nightstand at home right now, is a flower from her mic stand and her set list from that show. I can die now. =) I’m not telling you to make you envious, but because you are one of the few who could appreciate the depth of my admiration for her! You better see her when she’s in town.

    The tix are already bought.
Second time i get to see her.
Does she still have her little 3(4) piece band?

There is a guitar, bass, piano, and drums. Pretty simple. And very good. It’s not the same band as last time I saw her and it’s not the band that recorded on Comfort of Strangers. But they’re good.

Enjoy! Only 2 more days away. =)

Yup, 2 very short days away. Two more days and we’ll be back together. Just like the old days. 😉
